The last 9 weeks and 4 days have been a whirlwind of crazy. I’ve spent most of that time in a vehicle. Literally. We’ve been driving here and there and everywhere. It’s my favorite mode of travel. I just get behind the wheel and drive. It’s an addiction. Between our two cars, we’ve put over 6,000 miles on the road with the kids. With that, I have limited my exposure online. You may roll your eyes, but I have. Most of the blog posts were scheduled weeks in advance. My personal Instagram automatically posted to my personal Facebook. When not on the road, I’ve been curled up on the couch (in the dark) watching shows into the wee hours of the morning with Marty. This is the first time in a long while that I am sitting here in front of this screen. So how do I drive for hours and hours with nothing but the pavement and white lines in front of me? A Roadtrip Playlist. Most of the songs I enjoy are for the bass. I haven’t grown up apparently since I have a subwoofer in my car. I roll with the windows down as often as possible and I sing at the top of my lungs.
Here it is in no particular order. Please understand that some of these are not kid friendly. My crew rides with headphones on so I don’t mind if the lyrics aren’t “kid-friendly”.
