Music Creates Happiness. Music is a lifeline for me. If I were to be stranded on an island, I’d hope I had power, a charger, and my iPhone/iPod/radio. Lately, I have been jamming to the same artists on my phone – The Chainsmokers. I am a fan of all genres. Seriously. However, right now I am in to Electronic Pop. So The Chainsmokers (and Halsey) it is.
“So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover. That I know you can’t afford. Bite that tattoo on your shoulder. Pull the sheets right off the corner. Of the mattress that you stole. From your roommate back in Boulder. We ain’t ever getting older.”
“Research from the University of Missouri published in The Journal Of Positive Psychology found for the first time, that upbeat music can have a very positive effect on our well-being. ‘People were successful at raising their positive mood as long as the music they listened to was happy and upbeat,’ said Dr Yuna Ferguson, the lead author.'”
I am thankful that Marty doesn’t mind my singing. I’ve been belting out lyrics since day one! I love impressing him with the amount of songs that I know the lyrics too. I’m like that scene from Identity Thief. This is completely us. Now he is on board with the singing with me. But don’t screw up those lyrics.
Ha! And just maybe “I wanna be like Kayne!”
“I wanna be like Kanye. I’ll be the King of me always.”
Music is a vein working its way through me. It puts me in a better mood. It gets me out of my funks. Do you use music to be happy?
