Hello! It’s 2017. The idea of writing a new date on papers is going to drive me batty for a few weeks. I am sure it will do the same to you. That has to be the hardest part of shifting into a new year for me, every single time.
It’s Tuesday and sort of late. I am sitting at Starbucks in Coral Gables, Florida. This area is one of my favorites in Miami. I think it’s because Marty brought me here when we were dating and took me ring shopping on the popular Miracle Mile. The jewelry store was called Snow’s and there was even a doorbell to enter. When you are 18, that’s fancy.
Coral Gables is also a beautiful area as well. Oh, Miami. It’s a love-hate relationship for me. I like Miami. I truly do. However, it’s just a city like any other. It may bring shops my little city doesn’t have and the weather is consistently sunny, but it is just a city. The majority of the people here are in a rush and no one ever seems to be happy.
Then there is me. I love being a tourist here. It’s fun. I like finding new places to check out with the Bees. If you aren’t a follower of my Instagram, you should head over and see what I have posted. We’ve been in Miami for about a week and have checked out a few sites the kids asked us to. We even made a field trip out of them.
Miami by way of Instagram!
What’s new for 3 Busy Bees this year?
- Marty and I plan on blogging about our travels, the costs, and how to see the U.S. and world on a budget.
- I plan on showcasing our homeschool studies and how we make a 5 day schedule work in 4 days (sometimes less).
- Showcasing how we grow as a family who is constantly in a state of “GO”.
