Clean Your Lens.
I love photos. It doesn’t matter if it is with my big Nikon (I currently shoot with a D610), my iPhone6s, or my FujiFilm Instamax. You will usually find me with at least two of them at all times.
Over the years, I have easily taken over 500,000 images. Some have been jaw dropping while others have been filed away in the trash, never to be seen again. When I look back on what made those images garbage, part of them were from a dirty lens.
Gasp. It seems like an idiot thing to do, let a dirty lens jack up your photos. However, it is easy to forget just as a lens cap can be. If you shoot most of your images with your cell phone, a clean lens is crucial. The lens is so small that even the tiniest smudge will ruin your shots.
Memory cards can be the one thing that holds you back from getting the best shot of your life. I’ve missed important shots because the memory card I had lacked the speed to capture the moment as I seen it through my viewfinder. These days I have multiple cards in my camera bag but I prefer to use the Pro versions with lots of memory. My go to is a SanDisk SD card with 64GB of memory. It’s labeled – SanDisk- Extreme 64GB SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card – black/gold. I also use the 32GB version as well. SD Extreme Pro 128GB is currently on sale at BestBuy for a phenomenal price.
