Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Do you have any plans today? Do you celebrate with your significant other or your kids? Do you have a tradition that you always go with?
In our house, we do not usually exchange gifts. We rarely exchange gifts for any holiday or celebration. This year, Marty did surprise me. In the mail arrived this little package!
Oh my word! I have never received a Tiffany & Co. box nor have I ever asked for anything from there. Marty made me smile. He is the best and he knows it. The gift wasn’t about breaking the budget or having a flashy piece. It was about remembering that I lost one of my favorite pieces of jewelry and replacing it with another meaningful gift. That’s why when I showcased this via Instagram, I labeled it a “Throwback to KW!”.
A what? When we were in Key West, way back when, he went into a local jewelry shop and bought me these beautiful pearl earrings. I wore them everywhere. Then during the move, they were misplaced when I took them off (a rare occasion). He decided I needed something in my ears after all this time of nothing.
Tear.
Here is the gift that he decided on. New pearls. Tiffany & Co. pearls.
