Teacher’s Gift. Free Printable.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I love this time of the year. The smell of Fraser Fir trees, cinnamon in the air, gingerbread cookies in the oven, and lights glowing everywhere. Ah, it is true love.
Do you love this time of the year too?

With this time of the year, also comes a lot of stress and anxiety that can lead to the holidays being an unhappy and less than joyful occasion. I know all to well about the lack of money during the holiday season. My husband is coming out of a 4 month unemployment phase after leaving the Army (a story for another time) and times are rough in this household. With that said, I found myself needing a teacher’s gift for my daughter’s preschool teachers. Yes, there are two of them. Usually I would say don’t stress over gifts, but I am trying to keep my kids oblivious to our financial woes. In comes the craftiness I have…er don’t really have.

Tonight I sat down in between baking cookies (that I can no longer use because of a slight peanut issue) and whipped this up. It’s a TEACHER printable, a Pinterest inspired idea. This is a simple computer printable as an 8.5 x 11 that I trimmed down to an 8 x 10. The frames are rather inexpensive and I found these unopened in the house (apparently my husband bought quite a few frames a while back). VOILA! A gift that is sure to bring a smile to their face.

I must admit that I couldn’t help but think of the teachers and students in Sandy Hook, Connecticut when I was making this. True Heroism and it brings to light what teachers actually do for our children.
